sick day(s)

i'm not feeling too well today. i played at pianos last night... and whenever i play at pianos, i always end up talking to strangers and having a few too many drinks :)

then i had this idea that today i was going to do yoga, some life organizing, take some outfit photos, schedule some posts for this week... but yeah. that's not happening....

so it's a sick day. the doctah is in (me), and i am prescribing myself a chill pill.

i may also utilize this opportunity to take a few days off. i've been feeling a need for a break from the ole' blog, so i might only be posting sporadically this week. feeling like i need to post a lot has been kind of stressing me out lately... you know? i just want to free myself for a few days so that i can remember why i like to blog/ play music/ be artsy in the first place. i think it's a necessity for anyone who does any sort of creative activity regularly.

okayyy... so i do have some posts lined up for this week. but i dunno. i'm just gonna take it easy, i guess.

    And yes, I then wake up thinking I'll do X, Y and Z...and well they just stay as thought!

  5. Oh, girl! I'm so sorry to hear you're sick! :/ Hope you had fun performing, though! ;)

    Alcohol is a good friend of mine especially when I know I have to try to be not so socially awkward, but yeah, the next day I suffer the consequences.

    Drink lots of liquids and relax ;). And I agree in that sometimes it is necessary to take a little break from the things you enjoy doing.

    I'm feeling a bit under the weather too, in my case the indulgence was junk food related. Oh giant bowl of popcorn, why can't we be friends...
