Vanessa's Dumplings

Vanessa's Dumplings

Good morning :) How was everyone's weekend? I wanted to elaborate on one of my favorite places in Williamsburg, since I was on a roll talking about it in my last post. It's a subject near and dear to my heart: Dumplings!

There's a million dumpling places in New York, but I like Vanessa's in Willy's Burg. This place is great for several reasons:

#1 it's close! Love to grab a quick bite from this place when I'm in the area (which is often.)
#2 it's unassuming. I've probably passed by this place a thousand times and never noticed it.
#3 it is Cheap, cheap, cheap! And good! Four dumplings from this place cost $1.25.

My favorite thing about this place though, is the bubble tea. I'm picky about my bubble tea. I like it here because the tapioca pearls are relatively small, which means they don't get caught in my mouth like a big, gloppy mess. Like everything else on the menu, this yummy drink is budget friendly- only $3!! The coconut milk tea is TO DIE for.

Any favorite places of your own? xxo

  6. i'm in the west village but will have to give these dumplings a try! 4 for 1.25? crazy!!!!!! i've been testing out Chinese in my neighborhood but have yet to find a good take out place, it's so infuriating! How am I supposed to live out my sex and the city lifestyle without slimy Chinese!?

    1. you're in nyc? cool! if you're in manhattan, i know that they have amazing, cheap dumplings in chinatown too. i've been to a couple places, but can never remember the names. i like this place because it's closer, (comparatively) cuter, and and and... coconut bubble tea!!
