Girly Time

I can't lie... it's been hard for me to leave summer behind.

I know it's a cliche, and that everyone waxes poetic about the seasons whenever they change.  But last year was so dreary and depressing.  I was a total shut-in.  I'm just not looking forward to possibly spending another winter like that.

With that said, it's been perfect fall weather outside.  The kind of weather that makes me excited about change, rather than dreading it.  The crisp air means good things :)

Meet Coley!  She came down to the city a few weeks ago so that we could look at some dresses :)

She also planned a trip to the beach for us.  It was my first proper beach trip all summer long.  I don't know why.  I Love the beach with a capital L.  To me, there is nothing more relaxing in the world.

This says "ChanColey" which is a combination of our names.  We came up with it when we were roommates in college :)

Missing you...

  1. Oh,girl, I so hear you on the dreading summer's end thing. Here on the west coast of BC, our falls and winters are seemingly endless months of overcast wetness, which really takes its toll on me. But, we too have been blessed with a streak of unseasonably warm weather (with the exception of today), so am hoping October turns out to be a stunner!

Your photos are, as always, dreamy.

  2. Fun! Nothing is better than some quality time with long time friends! I love the beach so much, I wish I lived closer. My only laying on the beach time this summer was when I was in Long Island! I don't care if it's cliche, I think it's good to reflect on the seasons!

  3. Beautiful photos, that beach looks awesome and you look like you were having a great time.

  4. Lovely photos :) I love your blog and I have followed you with Bloglovin and GFC. If you ever get a chance to check out my blog I would be delighted, thanks!
