Mini road trips are the greatest, are they not? Luckily, it seems like we've been hitting the road almost every weekend. Always visiting family, going hiking, or having some adventure or another.
A few weeks ago on one such trip, Matt introduced me to a piece of his childhood- the Taconic Diner. Evidently, he's been coming here since he can remember. The place definitely had character... It was eerily quiet. There was no music. The service was crazy slow, even though there were only two or three other patrons. ... But all this just made the experience more charming. It didn't hurt that the food was definitely above the usual diner grade, and I scarfed it down so fast there wasn't even time for pictures. Lol.
