i've been living in casual skirts and shirts this summer. i thought for sure it would be sundresses, but i've been tending towards the separates, instead.
shirt- from mom
necklaces- thrifted, f21
cameo brooch- thrifted
skirt- anthropologie
belt- thrifted
shoes- swedish hasbeens for h&m
i know this isn't like a super awesome blog-tastic outfit, but i like it just the same. matt said i looked like a "worker girl." perhaps it's the skirt that gives that feel. i like and wear it because it's so simple and classic.
i used to buy *only* the crazy shit. now i look for more everyday items, to pair my more eccentric finds with. even if i am just a crazy cat lady, no use LOOKING like it.
xo
You look awesome! And I love the place, too ;). I need to buy more "less crazy" stuff, too, hehe. Most of the clothes I have are either too colorful or their patterns stand out too much to be paired with each other.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day! :D
I've been wearing a ton of skirts this summer too. I love this look and both pieces sre so versatile :)
ReplyDeleteI love your lipstick! It's so vibrant against your skin tone. I try to keep a relatively good balance of crazy and low key...and things that don't show copious amounts of cat hair :p
ReplyDeleteYour outfit looks classic and stylish...love it!
I absolutely adore this outfit ^^ it's basic but it suits you so well! I myself wear way to many dresses and not enough seperates! I only had 1 skirt at the beginning of summer! Now I have 5 ^^ gotta love the sales! x
ReplyDeletei love your necklaces! they look great together

Awesome outfit! I adore your shoes and that amazing cameo pin. I love wearing skirts in the summer. They allow for optimal skin breeziness!
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit! That bright shirt is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love Swedish Hasbeens too! They're perfect for summer.
haha, you look awesome! I don't know if 'worker girl' is the best description because I rarely associate layered necklaces and cameo brooches with 'worker girls', lol ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the pin-up style photo!
thank you so much everyone for your comments! i didn't really feel like this outfit was going places, but it seems like y'all like it :P
ReplyDeleteanjela, i loled at your comment!
isn't blogtastic? I disagree... I love this outfit! Bright and perty...and I like how the skirt heightens the rest.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog b/c it lead me straight back to yours which I am totally loving along with your bright colorful style, whimsy photos, and sweet, soothing voice. I am hooked:)
