Because I have a short waist, cropped shirts really work for me. I love the way they can instantly give me some shape when layered over a dress. Obviously they're a bit tricky if worn as a separate, but that's not usually how I do it... It's always layered over something else.
This was an interesting layering combination, because I put a sweater on top of a shirt, on top of a skirt. I love how the red skirt underneath is peeking out like a velvet curtain :) Reminds me of being in a theater.
