Orange & Blue

Orange & Blue

Such an odd color combination, yet it works, right? Also, I love that lush green as the backdrop... so much color!

We snapped these in my parent's backyard while we were visiting a few days ago. What a relaxing time!

Not much more to say today, other than I've been keeping busy this week with packing and running errands. I leave on Sunday, and that doesn't feel like near enough time to get everything done that I had hoped to! Such is life.

One thing to note about this outfit is the sandals in these pictures. I didn't really get a good shot of them, but I love them! They're Saltwater Sandals. I'd never heard of them before, but they're pretty neato. They're well-made, cost-friendly, and you can get them wet. Supposedly, that makes them mold to your foot better. I figured they'd be perfect for camp, as we walk across a field of wet grass every day. Only problem is, I scored these ones from eBay... They're a little more worn than I'd like, but hopefully, they'll last the summer.

Hope everything is wonderful in your world. xoxo

  1. That's the second time I've heard of Saltwater sandals this year; am very intrigued!

Love the lushness of this backdrop. And you're looking lovely, as always! Enjoy camp!

    1. Yeah, I've been seeing them everywhere! Modcloth is where I first heard of them. I couldn't even believe they carried such a high-quality, yet moderately priced shoe. haha :) i got mine elsewhere.

  3. I love it! Such a pretty summery combination. I LOVE it. I have this orangey/coral purse that I've decided matches with just about everything, but it's best with light blue. xx

  5. Orange and blue is one of my fave combos! I LOVE this- so bright and fun, and your parents yard looks AMAZING. I always had Saltwater sandals as a kid and I just got my first grown up pair last summer- a navy blue pair off ebay as well :) They are still going strong this year and I probably get more wear in AZ so I think you'll be good!

    1. yes, i heard that they make children's sandals! it must be such a trip to be able to pick up the exact same sandals as an adult :P thanks for the vote of confidence! i found a couple of tears near the buckle though, so that's my main problem with them. i've got the navy ones like you!

  8. Love the color combo including the green landscape ;). I kind of fell in love with orange not so long ago; I realized I was totally taken it for granted, hehe.
