Hippie Chick
Good morning, lovelies!! How did you fare with the crazy weather this weekend? We had some errands to do on Saturday, and ended up running around town freezing our butts off. Haha. Shoulda just stayed home. My feet were like ice blocks, as I attempted to walk crosstown from one appointment to the next. Luckily at the end of the day, we ended up ducking into an amazing tapas restaurant and had a wonderful meal. A rewarding end to a cold, cranky day.
So of course, it was SUPER cold and raining a slush/ snow concoction the day we took these photos. We decided to go old school and stay inside. I thought my vanity would make a good backdrop, but it was surprisingly hard to get a shot that wasn't too crowded-looking. We managed some decent ones though :)
Some things:
#1- I'm super happy to have found these brogues on Persunmall.com!! I've talked about it before... it's just been hard for me to find a pair that don't cost a bajillion dollars. These, I'm happy to say are sturdy, comfy, and stylin'! I even wore them out (twice!) in the recent snow storms (hence you will notice some dirt on them... oops), and they held up like champs. I want the pair with the tassels next time!!
#2- Hello cropped crochet sweater from Oasap... did you come from my dreams? I think maybe yes... you're the perfect thing to wear over dresses instead of my usual cardigan.
Admittedly, I think the sweater is better suited for fall weather... with the holes and all, it was predictably quite drafty. I solved the quandary by wearing skin-colored long-sleeve shirt underneath. It's also made of an acrylic material, which I totally don't mind... but I was hoping for cotton, in order to work it into my spring outfits. Still a pretty neat-o sweater, and I LOVE the look.
#3- I loved this dress from Urban so much that I bought it in three different prints!! I picked it up recently during one of their crazy sales. I think it's great for any season. it's all gone now unfortunately, but here's a similar style.
Yay! Have the greatest day :))

You look so cute! I wish I had a decent place inside to take pictures. It's frigid here right now, and I just can't bear to go out and take outfit pics. That dress is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI hear you. I love my apartment, but there really is a lack of decent light. It's always a struggle in the winter time!
