What's going on? What's this? Could this be... my first style post in forever?? Haha. Being permanently back in the city (until further notice), I felt like I needed to come back with a color-splosion... much of it of it coming from the background :P We tried to snag this spot, but there was some sort of weird bed frame chained (yes, chained!) to it. Hopefully, it won't be there next time.
Now I know this dress is wrinkly in these pictures, I hope you will forgive that. But it's a dress I really love because it was made by a company called Mata Traders. I found out about them a few months ago, and really love what they do. They're a sweatshop-free online clothing boutique, so the women that make the garments are paid a living wage. Yay!
I love the style of the dress, as well as the prints it was made with. I only wish the fabric were a little thicker... it's a thin cotton. Probably better for summer. Still, I'll be wearing the heck out of it this fall, fo sho'.
I'd also just like to call attention to my new purse/ camera bag from Jo Totes! It was actually a birthday present from all the way back in June, but I didn't get it until now. I love iiit...

I'm currently binge-watching Grey's Anatomy so I can watch Season 10 starting on the 26th... four more seasons to watch. LOL I can do it!!

Except that there was a mix-up and when i was emailed later that it was sold out (no wonder w/ the $18 sale for such a lovely dress). so it was really fun to see it on you, even lovelier than I imagined and I love the pop of red w/ your cardi. And I too mentioned how cool the company is, yay sweatshop free, fair trade & living wages! and i mentioned the lightweight fabric haha, except that it's perfect for Phoenix. anyway, i'll stop now, clearly I am too excited about your first back style post : ).

aww, that's too bad! i really do love this dress... i did actually want the purple/ red one, but they didn't have my size, so i got this one! i ordered it in the summer, and noticed that soon after that it sold out. i'm sorry if i got the last one!! but the one you're wearing on your blog is super pretty too :)

hey girl! RE: outfit posts, you can do them yourself with a self-timer! there are several bloggers that do it that way. but as for me, i always have better results when someone else takes the pictures for me. it can be super funny/ awkward to ask your boyfriend/ friends to take pictures of you at first. but sooner or later, they'll understand and get the hang of it :)

hmm, haven't heard of orphan black... but it must be good, because all those other shows are! i can't really get with dexter though. i just stopped caring about it after season 4... hated the lumen storyline.

DeleteI always love your style posts and these colors make me happy! That dress seems perfect for AZ- year round :) I LOVED OITNB and binge watched it this summer and was bummed when I was finished. We just started watching The Americans which I think is really good, but I'm seriously lacking in a girly show these days!
