Home Refresh ~ New Vanity

If there's one positive thing about staying home recently, it's that I've been paying more attention to my space. There's tons of things around the house that I've been meaning to fix or update forever, but just never got around to it. So even though I'm stuck here for a little while, it's nice to finally be able to turn my attention to improvements.

One of those things is replacing my old vanity!

Best Tips on Working from Home and Working Remotely

Hello friends!

I guess you could say that I've been a "work from home" freelancer for several years now. It's a little funny to me, since to be honest, I usually can't get much done when I'm at home! 🙈 Weirdly, I find my home to be distracting and not all that motivating when I'm alone. I prefer to work around other people, so I usually opt for a local cafe or coffee shop.

The best tips on how to work from home

Obviously a lot has changed in the past few weeks, and going to work outside my home is not an option right now. So I've started to develop a routine that helps me to be even more productive than I ever have been before! I've put together seven tips that will help you do the same :)

What to wear in New Orleans

shein floral dress

Hi cuties! How's your week going?

As you can tell, I'm trying to pop in here a little more often with updates and posts. I loved writing the last blog about New Orleans (I wrote most of it on the plane ride back!), and I just wanted to share my favorite look for the trip!

So as you can tell from my last post, I fell hard for New Orleans during our recent trip. And when I was thinking about what to wear there, my first instinct was to conjure up some super femme vibes. This gorgeous floral dress from Shein was literally perfect!

New Orleans- Your Guide to the French Quarter, Jazz, and Voodoo

New Orleans is known as a mecca for jazz, voodoo, drinking on Bourbon Street, and rich food. Your itinerary can include things like haunted hotels in the French Quarter. Mansions in the Garden District. Historic Tours of the city. And bars and restaurants galore. Basically tons of things to do in every direction you step.

For centuries, people have been attracted to the witchy charms of New Orleans, and I'm no exception. I found myself called there this year, and I can verify that this city is utterly hypnotizing. From the smells to the architecture, to the palm readers setting up shop in Jackson Square. There's something darkly alluring about New Orleans and I admit- I'm hooked!

How to Spend 48 Hours in San Francisco

Travel Guide for San Francisco California

Cue the Full House theme 🎶🎶

I'll just go out on a limb and say it- traveling to San Francisco is always a good idea! Even if you only have a short amount of time to see it.  I just love its wonderful laid back energy and unique people-watching opportunities. Not to mention finding things to do in San Fran is a snap! It's pretty perfect bucket material, as there are so many famous landmarks to check out. The Golden Gate Bridge, Painted Ladies, and Fisherman’s Wharf... just to name a few.

San Francisco has a reputation of attracting bohemians and free spirits of all types, but it's also a business hub, since the tech industry is based there. So if you're visiting on a work trip for instance, (or just have a really long layover) you might not have as much time as you want to wander...
